What are the benefits of membership? |

Membership in the Coalition provides a forum for joint action on promoting sustainable modes of transportation, encouraging the development of alternative fuels and green vehicle technology, and reducing vehicle emissions. Through the pooling of resources and expertise, members are able to make a greater impact than any one entity working independently. Benefits of joining the Coalition include:

Opportunity to network with policy makers, private and public sector fleet managers, manufacturers, alternative fuel producers and suppliers, environmental organizations and researchers.

How does membership work? |
|
Like all Clean Cities coalitions, the RRVCCC Winnipeg Chapter, is locally supported and locally administered. Interested parties sign a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize membership and pay annual dues to help support Chapter activities and projects.

| What is the non-binding MOU? |
The non-binding MOU provides a descriptive list of member responsibilities, which may include the following:
- Act on individual interests to promote the Chapter’s objectives
- Utilize particular area of expertise and contacts to help fulfill the Chapter’s mission and objectives
- Sit on designated working groups and partake in working group initiatives as much as is possible

| Who should join? |
The Winnipeg Chapter invites a wide variety of stakeholders to become formal members of Clean Cities Coalition. Organizations and professionals with experience, knowledge, products or services related to alternative fuels, advanced vehicle technology, or idle reduction, as well as potential users of alternative fuels and technologies, are welcome to join.
Membership candidates include:
- Municipal, provincial and federal agencies
- Public and private sector fleets
- Trucking, courier and delivery companies
- Alternative fuel producers, distributors and suppliers
- Vehicle manufacturers and dealers
- Industry associations
- Educational institutions and organizations
- Public and private sector research institutions
- Civic and environmental organizations
- Other groups or individuals with an interest in advancing the use of alternative transportation fuels and alternative transportation vehicles in Manitoba
